Isaac Weston is a full time copper artist who lives in Matua, Tauranga with his wife Lara and their fur kid/cat Honey.

Isaac’s design process blends acids, salts, and sunlight to uncover the hidden qualities of copper. Through this alchemical approach, light, shadow, texture, and vibrant patinas emerge. He finds joy in working with metals, drawing out the medium’s organic beauty. Isaac’s creative expression spans from sculpture to wall art, producing high-quality gallery pieces that reflect his constant inspiration from the evolving textures and colors of his materials. When creating commissioned work, Isaac collaborates closely with clients to bring their vision to life.

Isaac has been a full time artist for 7 years and has exhibited at the Incubator Gallery in Tauranga. His sculptures and wall art, adorned with vivid patinas, have graced television screens and featured on the pages of magazines. A collection of 4 large artworks will be permanent features at the Sky City Horizon Hotel in Auckland, opening in August 2024.

Isaac's fine wall work can be found in esteemed art galleries across New Zealand. He has been a guest artist at the Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival for 2018, 2020,2022 and 2024. Locally, his art can be enjoyed in permanent public gardens at the Tauranga Historic Village, Tauranga Racecourse and the Te Puna Quarry Park.

His range of garden sculpture, jewellery and smaller wall art is promoted under the name "Re.Work.it."
