Isaac Weston is a full-time copper artist based in Matua, Tauranga, where he lives with his wife, Lara, and their fur kid/cat, Honey.

Isaac’s creative process is a unique blend of artistry and alchemy, combining acids, salts, and sunlight to reveal the hidden beauty of copper. This approach allows him to bring out light, shadow, texture, and vibrant patinas, showcasing the organic elegance of the metal. From sculptures to wall art, Isaac creates high-quality gallery pieces that reflect his ongoing fascination with the ever-changing textures and colors of his materials. When working on commissioned pieces, he collaborates closely with clients to transform their ideas into art.

With eight years as a full-time artist, Isaac has exhibited at the Incubator Gallery in Tauranga and earned recognition for his vivid patina-adorned sculptures and wall art, featured in magazines and on television. Four of his large artworks are permanently displayed at the SkyCity Horizon Hotel in Auckland, which opened in August 2024 - see video at bottom.

Isaac’s fine wall art is showcased in esteemed galleries across New Zealand. He has also been a guest artist at the Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival in 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024. Locally, his art can be enjoyed in public gardens, including the Tauranga Historic Village, Tauranga Racecourse, and Te Puna Quarry Park.

His collection of garden sculptures, jewellery, and smaller wall art is sold under the brand "Re.Work.it."
